Applications for new professionals to attend this year’s SLA Conference in Phoenix are due in by Friday 17th February.
SLA Europe is pleased to offer two opportunities for current European library and information science students and new professionals (those who have been working in the field for less than five years since qualification) to attend the 2017 SLA Conference, all expenses paid.
You can apply for awards from either the Academic Division and Legal Division of SLA. These Early Career Conference Awards provide valuable opportunities for new professionals in LIS to develop and establish themselves within their chosen sector.
The Awards allow winners to attend the 2017 SLA Annual Conference and INFO-EXPO in Phoenix, USA, 18 – 20 June 2017 and cover all expenses including conference registration, hotel accommodation, economy return airfare to Phoenix, and meals.
The deadline for applications is 17th February 2017 and winners will be notified in March 2017.
