About SLA Europe
Founded in 1972, SLA Europe is the fourth largest regional community of the Special Libraries Association. We are a thriving network of information professionals and organisations across Europe, representing different sectors and we work closely with other SLA communities and associations to promote the interests of information professionals worldwide.
We regularly organise a wide range of events, including talks by leading industry experts, presentations from our members, networking opportunities, and other social events throughout the year. We held our first conference in 2019 and we regularly support conferences hosted by other associations. If you are an information professional considering SLA membership, take a look at our upcoming events or consider volunteering with us.

TESTIMONIALS
The SLA Europe Conference was thoroughly well organised with ample consideration for accessibility and privacy. The talks ranged from predator publishing in academia, competitive intelligence in the business world, an RDA cataloguing workshop, to a mindfulness meditation session.
SLA Europe events are superbly organised and always good fun, especially if you’re looking to network without the pressure of being too formal!
Join SLA Europe – do it now! Come for the excellent people, stay for the quality networking and valuable events. I’ve met so many fabulous professionals, many of whom I now consider personal friends.
I had a lot of fun at the SLA Europe Winter Warmer Quiz, and it was really great to be able to participate!
