SLA is the world’s leading association for information professionals and special librarians. There are 25 subject Divisions and 59 regional Chapters connecting over 11,000 professionals around the world.
SLA Europe, founded in 1972, is a thriving network for information professionals in the UK and across Europe.
SLA Divisions
Each Division focuses on information activities in a specific field and provides a forum for networking between members with similar concerns. You can join as many as you like – the first is free, with a cost of US$20 for each additional Division membership.
There’s a satisfying range to choose from – Competitive Intelligence, Knowledge Management, Business & Finance, Environment & Resource Management, Legal, Information Technology, Leadership and Management, Engineering, Advertising & Marketing, Taxonomy…. SLA Chapters
The 58 Chapters cover all of the SLA’s geographical regions. Membership of the first is free and each additional Chapter costs $20 to join.
