From 2012, the SLA Europe Information Professional Award is being replaced with the SLA Europe Conference Award
2011 SLA Europe Information Professional Award Winner: Professor Hazel Hall
SLA Europe is delighted to announce that Professor Hazel Hall, a generous, inspiring, and energetic information professional has won this year’s SLA Europe Information Professional Award.
The Award covers Hazel’s expenses for attendance at the SLA Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 12-15 June 2011, The award will be formally presented by the Award sponsor Dow Jones at the International Reception on 13th June.
About the award
Established in 1994, the SLA Europe Information Professional Award (formerly known as the European Special Librarian of the Year, or ESLY) recognises outstanding achievement in the information profession amongst those living and working in Europe.
This is your chance to gain recognition for a professional colleague or yourself. The winner receives an expenses-paid trip to the annual SLA Conference. Nominators of the successful candidate receive a magnum of champagne.
