Ursprünglich aus Trinidad & Tobago, Seema Rampersad kam nach London, um Information und Kommunikation zu studieren. Stephanie Hung-Gretarsson is a Canadian Information Professional currently living and working in South Western Germany. As a graduate student completing her Master of Information Studies with a specialisation in Library and Information Sciences in 2010 from the University of Toronto, she's worked in academic libraries and archives, as well as in the Art Gallery of Ontario in the E.P. Taylor Research Library and Archives in the cataloguing department. Since completing her degree, she's gathered further work experience in the public sector in Records Management for a government heritage agency, and most recently in the private sector for a marketing and communications firm, based at the client's head office co-ordinating digital images and asset management.
Her professional interests are in Information Management in regards to heritage and conservation collections, as well as records management in government and Non-profit organizations. She is interested in heritage advocacy and collections' access and management. Outside of the library sphere, some of Stephanie's other interests include language learning, travelling and cooking. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, German and French. She has successfully completed and passed the standardised language test for German proficiency TestDAF, ‘Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache’.
Originally from South Dakota, Melissa Wintemute moved to the UK in 2015, taking on the Prospect Research Manager position at the University of Nottingham. Prior to her current position she was a prospect research analyst for Arizona State University, a medical insurance analyst for Navigant Consulting and a senior research analyst for mergers and acquisitions firm, Dinan & Gesellschaft. In her pre-information professional life, Melissa worked in operations for two regional airlines in the U.S. and was a sports reporter and photographer.
She has been an SLA member since enrolling in the MLIS program at the University of Pittsburgh in 2012, finding particular value in her business & finance and advertising & marketing division affiliations. Graduating from Pitt in 2014, she also holds a BA in History from the University of Nebraska and a BS in mass communications from Black Hills State University.
