SLA Europe is fully committed to the diversity of its membership and we welcome members of all faiths and nationalities. To the best of our knowledge, European citizens who hold dual nationality with one of the countries affected by travel/immigration restrictions imposed by the US government would not be prevented from attending the conference. If you have any questions or concerns in this regard about applying for the Early Career Conference Award, please contact the Awards Chair at awards@sla-europe.org.

Tildeling:

SLA Europe is offering one award in 2019 jointly with the SLA Juridisk avdeling.

The Early Career Conference Awards provide invaluable opportunities for new library and information professionals to develop and establish themselves within their chosen sector.

The Award will allow the winner to attend the 2019 SLA årskonferanse og INFO-EXPO in Cleveland, 16 - 18 Juni 2019.

The Award is worth about $4000. Det dekker hele kostnaden av deltakeravgift, Hotellet losji, economy return airfare to Cleveland, og måltider og hensiktsmessige tilfeldige utgifter. Award winners are paired with a mentor from the sponsoring Division. The mentor briefs the award winner before the Conference, gives guidance during the Conference, and maintains a link to the Division following the Conference.

Details about application requirements and the application process can be found on the Guidelines page.

The deadline for applications to be received is Thursday, 7 Mars 2019, 23:59 GMT. Applicants will be informed no later than Friday, 29 Mars 2019.
