Come and hear Katharine Schöpflin talk about knowledge and information management in practice. She will share both her own extensive experience and also learnings from her book Practical Knowledge and Information Management.
Katharine’s talk will explore how knowledge and information management is implemented in organisations, problems you might encounter and practical advice on how to approach it.
Join us at this stimulating, interactive free talk and with the option to continue discussions with Katharine at a neighbouring pub on an informal basis. Coffee/tea and biscuits will be available before the event from 17.45.
Katharine Schöpflin is a London-based information professional with more than 20 years’ experience. She has worked in sectors ranging from media to government and in a range of information and knowledge management roles. She teaches regularly on MA LIS courses and has published in both trade and academic journals. She is the editor of A Handbook for Media Librarians and author of Un manuale per l'informativa societaria professionisti.
