SLA Spring Stroll
May 1, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Last year, Kirstie Shedden conducted our timely tour on sites associated with the Suffragette Movement. We received great feedback about the tour and are delighted to invite her back again this year to share another of her delightful tours with us.
SLA Spring Stroll: The social conscience of Bloomsbury
During the last 300 hundred years, the lovely squares and buildings of Bloomsbury took shape. Among the writers, architects and intellectuals that lived and worked here, were those who wanted to change society for the better.
On our walk we will explore some of the wonderful buildings and gardens associated with these pioneers and hear their inspiring stories of social conscience.
Timings: Please arrive in time for a prompt start at 6:30pm. The walk will end at about 8:15-8:30pm so you may wish to grab a sandwich beforehand.
Weather: The walk will run whatever the weather so please dress accordingly.
Pictures: Please do bring you cameras and mobiles and share your photos on social media of this photogenic area. #SLASpringStroll
