MAXIMISING YOUR PERSONAL IMPACT
The first of a series of events by SLA Europe focused on the image and impact of the Information Professional.
Specialist recruitment consultant Suzanne Wheatley will lead a workshop on maximising your personal impact – at work, at job interviews and at large.
Participants will:
· Consider techniques for effective speaking (and listening)
· Discuss the politics of speaking (and using silence)
· Explore the mechanics of speaking (voice projection, adjusting tone etc)
· Share their concerns and successes
· Enjoy a lively shared learning experience
Suzanne Wheatley has worked in information recruitment for over eight years. She is currently Recruitment Manager at Sue Hill Recruitment, working with colleagues to provide a consultative approach to clients in order to establish and develop cohesive information teams. A highly experienced presenter, Suzanne is excited to be delivering this workshop for SLA Europe after being voted one of the top speakers at the Perfect Information Conference 2010.
