Come along to the National Library of Scotland and hear Bryan Christie and Nick Goldstein answer these and other questions as they talk about the use of social media and networking for information professionals.
Wednesday 17th April – SLA Europe, BIALL and CLSIG Open Day with SLA Europe speakers
SLA Europe is proud to announce that SLA Europe Board members Simon Barron, Marie Grace Cannon and Sam Wiggins will be speaking at the SLA Europe, BIALL and CLSIG Open Day. Simon and Marie have given brief tasters as to what topics they will be speaking on to aid new professionals.

Based on the popular 60 Apps and Sites in 60 Minutes sessions at last year’s SLA Conference in Chicago, Anneli Sarkanen and Simon Barron present a European selection of essential apps and websites that all modern information professionals should know about.

A future for special libraries? Wednesday 3rd October in Edinburgh
On Wednesday 3rd October, SLA Europe is hosting a panel discussion at the National Library of Scotland where three key information professionals will discuss and debate the future for special libraries with reference to their own sector.
